ALFIE’S STORY
April 14th 2021
After months of illness and misdiagnosis, Alfie was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
For over the next three years Alfie would face treatment almost every day as well as many hospital appointments. To add to all of this Alfie was diagnosed when society was under Covid-19 restrictions, meaning he and his family could access the usual support that is offered.
OUR GOAL
Buy a Static Holiday Caravan for Ruddi’s Retreat
We’d like to offer children and their families, who are going through treatment and need respite, the chance to visit the seaside, in a well equipped static caravan
A static caravan by the sea offers a serene and rejuvenating retreat for families undergoing medical treatments, providing much-needed respite from the stresses of daily life. The calming sounds of the waves and the fresh sea air create a peaceful environment, allowing families to relax and recharge. This tranquil setting encourages bonding and quality time together, away from the clinical atmosphere of hospitals and the constant reminders of illness.
